1. About Us
Enlevo Atelier is a sole proprietorship run by Jeniffer Lopes, VAT number 230305903, based in Almada, Portugal. Contact: [email protected].
2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of personalised children's books and related digital products, available through enlevoatelier.com.
3. Products and Personalisation
Books sold by Enlevo are 100% personalised products, created based on the photographs, names, characteristics, and story shared by the customer through a dedicated form, after the order is confirmed.Customers can choose between 2, 3, or 4 characters, in digital (PDF) or digital + printed format. For orders with 5 or more characters, pricing is provided through an individual quote, upon direct contact.
4. Order Process
4.1. After payment, the customer receives a form to submit the details of their story, including photographs and information about the characters.4.2. Based on this information, Enlevo creates a complete first draft of the book, which is sent to the customer for review.4.3. The customer can review the full book and request adjustments before approving the final version.4.4. Once approved, the digital book is sent by email, and, in the case of a printed book, it proceeds to production, quality check, gift wrapping, and shipping.
5. Timelines
Estimated creation and delivery timelines are indicated on each product page. These timelines may extend during periods of higher demand, and also depend on how long the customer takes to complete the form and approve the final version.
6. Prices and Payment
The prices shown include all applicable taxes (Enlevo Atelier is exempt from VAT under Article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code). Payments are processed through Stripe. Shipping costs and special gift-wrapping options are charged separately, when applicable.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
7.1. Under Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of 14 February, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, as is the case with books sold by Enlevo.7.2. Should the customer wish to cancel their order before submitting the personalisation form, they will be refunded the amount paid, minus a €5 administrative fee.7.3. Once the form has been submitted and the creation process has begun, the order cannot be cancelled, and no refund will be issued, given that the product is personalised and made to order.
8. Responsibility for Submitted Content
The customer is responsible for ensuring they have the right to use the photographs and information submitted, and that these do not infringe on the rights of third parties. Enlevo Atelier reserves the right to decline the creation of content it considers inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful.
9. Intellectual Property
The illustrations, text, and design of each book are created specifically for the customer who ordered them, for personal, non-commercial use. Enlevo Atelier reserves the right to use images of the final product (without personally identifiable data, unless expressly authorised) for promotional purposes, unless the customer indicates otherwise.
10. Changes to These Terms
Enlevo Atelier reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes apply to orders placed after the date the updated version is published.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any disputes, the consumer may resort to the Consumer Dispute Arbitration Centre, in accordance with applicable legislation.
